Naomi joined the CYP team in 2021, after receiving her Bachelor degree in Kinesiology from the University of Calgary, and Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Queen’s University in Kingston Ontario. Between graduating, and starting with CYP, Naomi spent time working with adults with mental health conditions, and chronic illnesses in both inpatients and outpatient settings. She always knew that she wanted to work with the pediatric population, and loves the opportunity to work, play, educate and advocate for the children that she gets to see. Naomi strives to empower patients of all ages to set, and reach their own goals, and hopes to have a little fun along the way.
Naomi has taken many professional development courses in the last few years focused on sensory regulation, interoception, and executive functioning. She has recently also completed the SOS Approach to Feeding Workshop and is very excited to be offering feeding therapy for patients.
When not in the clinic, Naomi enjoys going for walks, spending time with friends and family, Pilates classes, and dreaming up her next project on the pottery wheel.
