Morgan was born and raised in Calgary and grew up participating in many competitive sports such as badminton, soccer, running, volleyball and golf. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Alberta and then her Master of Physiotherapy from the University of Sydney in Australia. Since graduating, Morgan has worked as a physiotherapist in private practice settings in the area of orthopedics and sports medicine. She has been with the CYP team since 2012. Morgan enjoys working with children and adults of all ages with a variety of orthopedic conditions as well as babies and children with gross motor delays and torticollis. Morgan has also gone on to complete training in dry needling as well as obtaining her Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist designation (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Morgan has completed two Return to Play pediatric concussion courses. One on the Assessment of Persistent Post Concussion Symptoms and one focusing on the Treatment of Persistent Post Concussion Symptoms. She has also completed training for Pediatric Pelvic Health and can help children with bladder and bowel concerns.
In her spare time, Morgan enjoys spending time with her husband and three young children as well as golfing, skiing and playing badminton. Morgan continues to strive to help patients of all ages reach their fitness and injury prevention objectives by looking at the whole body and taking a hands-on approach to her treatments.
