Amy joined the CYP team in 2013. After graduating from the University of Manitoba, Amy worked in a private setting in the area of orthopedics and sports medicine; she also worked with preschool-aged children with neurological impairments and developmental delays in preschool and home settings. Amy has completed training in medical acupuncture/dry needling, manual therapy, and spinal manipulation, toe walking, the pediatric vestibular system, gymnastics injuries and hypermobility conditions. She also enjoys working with babies with torticollis and latching concerns. Amy always knew she wanted to work with children and has had a great passion for it. As a former gymnast and gymnastics coach, she understands the demands sports and everyday life can have on the body and loves to help children and teens meet those demands with healthy bodies. When she’s not at the clinic, Amy spends time with her daughters and can be found hiking, running, golfing, or reading a good book.
