CME (Cuevas Medek Exercise) is a world renowned physical therapy approach for children living with
neurological and genetic disorders like Cerebral Palsy (CP), Down Syndrome, Rett Syndrome, Angelman Syndrome, and many other conditions.
The goal of CME is to produce functional motor control in the highest level of independence in sitting, standing and walking. CME aims to provoke automatic responses of postural and functional motor control in a child’s brain by exposing them to gravity with the least support possible.
Why Intensive Therapy?
Intensive therapy, differs from traditional forms of therapy, by increasing the frequency and intensity of children’s therapy sessions to improve child response.
