Summer Bike and Sport Experience

BicycleJoin us for a unique physiotherapy lead, bike riding and gross motor experience. Our goal is to provide your child with the support needed to increase their skills and confidence on their bike and with a variety of outdoor sports. 
Our week long program will focus on developing all areas needed to successfully ride a bike including:

  • BALANCE- to prevent falls and progress away from training wheels
  • UPPER BODY COORDINATION and STRENGTH– needed for steering
  • LEG STRENGTH AND ENDURANCE
  • BIKE SAFETY
  • CONFIDENCE–with practice in a supportive environment comes increased confidence and enjoyment of bike riding with peers
  • FUN!!

Bike and Sport Experience

Areas of sport exposure include but are not limited to:

  • Soccer skills
  • Kickball
  • T-ball
  • Basketball skills
  • Strength and mobility training
  • Field games

Our week long program for children ages 6-10, will run July 16-20th and August 13-17th from 11am-12pm. We will meet at the parking lot for Henry Wisewood High School (910 – 75 Avenue S.W., Calgary AB). A maximum of 6 participants will be able to register for the class. The cost will be $225 per week. A minimum of 3 participants is required in order to run the camp.

Each child must bring their own bike and helmet to each class and a water bottle is suggested.

If the weather is poor on any given day a makeup class will be scheduled or families will be reimbursed if needed.
